Next week we will be working with artist Jim Cereal from the One Trick Pony collective to create a series of original images which can be used to challenge, educate and ignite discussion around the issue in schools and other youth settings.
In preparation for this the group considered what kind of images are already associated with youth homelessness.
They created two mood boards using images from the internet and words generated by a visual thesaurus.
The first board featured popular stereotypes.
The second board featured the reality of youth homelessness.
